I believe in Jewish revival. I believe in salvation of the Jewish people. Our goal is to see the Jewish people saved, to build a Messianic congregation, to reach out to Montreal, across Canada and to Israel. The population of the Jewish people today is between 16-17 million in the whole world. Israel has a population of 6 million. The United States and Israel have the same amount of Jewish people. Canada has about 450,000 Jews, 89,000 live in Montreal, 160,000 live in Toronto, 18,000 live in Vancouver, 13,000 live in Winnipeg and 12,000 live in Ottawa.
Ezekiel was a prophet in a time when the Jewish people were in Babylon. Ezekiel 37:1-6, speaks about dry bones. “The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live? So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.”
Surely means for sure. God is going to cause breath to enter into them. The word breath in Hebrew is Ruach and it means Spirit. So without the Holy Spirit these dry bones would never live. Without the invasion of the Holy Spirit they will not accept Yeshua. But the good news is that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob said “surely I will do it...” in Verse 6, God explains how He is going to bring Israel to life again. “I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you.” God will cover Israel’s bones with sinews and then cover them with skin. What does this mean? Israel was scattered all over the world. Their dispersion began 70 AD after the temple was destroyed. Roman Emperor Titus destroyed Jerusalem and burned it to the ground. The Jewish people ended up in different parts of the world. Today they are all over the earth. No other nation has been scattered and survived to become a nation again! God said that He is going to put sinew on them. He will gather them back to their land.
But before this all occurs there must be a spiritual rebirth. Some people believe that the Jewish people will only accept Yeshua when they are in the land. I believe that the Jewish people will see revival even before many of them will reach their land. When Jesus will come back He will expand the land of Israel. The promise that God gave to Abraham will come to pass and the Jewish people will receive the exact amount of land God promised to Abraham. They will return from all over the world and God will reorganize the nation of Israel according to their tribes. But for now God is preparing the way.
The nation of Israel was reborn only three years after the War. God was doing this. He began to bring sinew upon their flesh. God began to restore physical Israel. He started restoring Israel from their bones by putting sinew and flesh on them.
In 1953, Stalin, ruler of Russia had prepared trains for the Jewish people to send them to Birobidjan in Siberia. He had built special camps for every Jew that remained in the former Soviet Union after the Second World War. Only one night before his announcement, God struck him with a massive heart attack and he died. This tragedy did not happen because God said; “No more! No one will touch my people Israel” Moreover, God began to bring to pass the prophecy spoken by Ezekiel. God began to rebuild Israel from their bones.
Today we see that God has already put the sinews and skin upon their bones. Israel lives and is doing really well. In sixty years of existence, Israel as a nation has achieved so much. Today they are the most developed country in the Middle East. The next step according to this prophecy is that God will breathe on them His Ruach (Spirit). This is the time we are living in. Yeshua said that He is coming back when the fig tree blossoms. When Israel is reborn in the flesh, one generation shall not pass when all these things will come to pass. These are the words of Yeshua. We are living in these days. God has called our Ministry in these last days to reach the Jewish people of Canada with His Ruach, the Spirit of Adonai. God is going to breathe upon the Jewish people worldwide. God is going to release His Spirit soon. God will take the scales off their eyes and they will see who Yeshua is. We must be ready for a Jewish revival.
In verse 6, we observe the result of this worldwide Jewish revival, “Then you shall know that I am the LORD.” When the spirit of God will come upon them and when they will be born again, then they will know that Yeshua is Lord. Israel will have to live through two born again experiences. One is physical and the second is spiritual.
Let me share with you why I believe the revival among the Jewish people will take place while they are scattered all over the world. Ezekiel Chapter 37:14, I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.” Those who were scattered will receive the Spirit and they will be placed in the land. This is why we are getting ready. We know that God has called us to this ministry for such a time as this.
